 have come together and formed

The Staffordshire & Moorlands Foster Carers Association,

 What is an Association?,

As a none profit organisation we will be in the unique position of finding and utilizing previously unobtainable resources and funding, to provide support to benefit foster carers their families, and improve the outcomes for children in care.

Staffordshire Foster and Kinship carers already benefit from well organised and active support groups and a involved Foster carers Advice group (FAG) it is hoped that some members of these groups will also become committee members of the association,

 As an Independent Association with one united voice we will be well positioned to promote foster carers views, opinions and ideas, and when needed represent carers who may be experiencing difficulties, We will be able to invite relevant professionals as guest to committee meetings for advice and guidance on formulating new ideas or resolving problem areas,

We will develop strong working relationships with departments associated with looked after children hopefully to a point where we become involved in policy, Practices and Budget decisions
